INGREDIENTS
- 14 oz. of premium soft tofu
- 6 oz. of Thai 3 wheels pad Thai sauce
- 10 oz. of daikon (peeled and shredded)
- 8 oz. of carrot (peeled and shredded)
- ½ red bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- ½ green bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- ½ cup of tempura flour
- 1 cup of bread crumbs (Panko)
- 1 cup of vegetable oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Drain and press a block of tofu to get as much liquid out as possible.
- Coat the tofu evenly with tempura flour. Then roll it in bread crumbs and deep fry until golden brown. Set it aside.
- Combine daikon, carrot, red bell pepper and green bell pepper in a salad bowl.
- To make salad dressing, in a sauce bowl, add 2 tbsp. of water into pad Thai sauce. Then microwave for a minute.
- Add the dressing to a salad bowl and toss lightly.
- To assemble this dish, lay fried tofu on one side of a plate (optional: top with small amount of pad Thai dressing for a taste). Next add salad on the other side, garnish as desired and serve.
