Steamed or Baked Mussels

How to make steamed or baked mussels topped with Thai 3 Wheel Massaman Curry Sauce:

Recipe

  • 6 oz. of Massaman curry sauce (more can be added as desire)
  • 1 dozen of New Zealand Mussels
  • Chopped shallot for garnish
  • Chopped red bell pepper for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bake mussels in a baking pan in the oven at 385 Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes
  2. Steaming mussels instead of baking is also optional as well, by boiling hot water in the pot and put mussels until cooked, then take them out from the pot
  3. Set the mussels on a plate 
  4. Warm up Massaman curry sauce in microwave for 2-3 minutes or until it’s hot (be sure to shake the sauce the bottle before use)
  5. Spoon up the sauce over the mussels
  6. Top with shallot, red bell pepper and enjoy it as an appetizer or entrée
