Sliced Steak with Sweet & Spicy Pad Thai Dipping Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 oz. of boneless strip steak
  • 3 tbsp. of Thai 3 Wheels Pad Thai sauce
  • 1 oz. of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 oz. of chopped fresh shallot
  • 1 ½ tbsp. of fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ tbsp. of toasting rice
  • ½ tbsp. of red chili flake 
  • ½ tsp. of sea salt
  • ½ tsp. of ground black pepper 
  • A few mint leaves for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Dry steak with a paper-towel. Then lightly season on both side with sea salt and ground black pepper. 
  2. Place steak on a hot preheat grill for around 3-5 mins per side. Then turn the heat to medium and continue to cook on both side until internal temperatures reach 140 F for medium rare. 
  3. Once steak is done, cover with foil paper and let it rest for 10 mins.
  4. In a small bowl combine Pad Thai sauce, cilantro, shallot, lime juice, toasting rice, red chili flake and give all the ingredients a good stir. 
  5. Slice steak to ¼ inch pieces and lay them down on a plate. Serve with sweet & spicy Pad Thai dipping sauce on the side. Also add mint leaves and salad of your choice on a plate for healthier dish.
